Warriors of light are not perfect.
Their beauty lies in accepting this fact
and still desiring to grow and to learn. ~ Paulo Coelho ❤
This quote reminds me of a line I read in a poem.
If any of you have ever read the poem called “The Invitation”, you will be familiar with the line that says “I want to know if you can get up weary and bruised to the bone and do wopportunities provided for us to rise up again and again? Perhaps they are an opportunity to practice the power we have to choose again and again and again, so that we become unstoppable and realize our innate ability to love with NO conditions? We need to receive this first for ourselves before we can spread it to anyone else from a genuine pure place.
And what if those challenges teach us who we are and what we are really made of? Our imperfections, wounds and vulnerabilities are just just as powerful and beautiful as our creative genius when we see them in a different light.
And when we look at our moments of brokenness and inner poverty as a great opportunity to get spiritually stronger and we choose to rise from the adversity and overcome the challenges in front of us, then we are truly on the path of emerging into a peaceful warrior.
We are moving from becoming victims to becoming truly victorious. And for many of us our “mess” eventually becomes our message!
And every time we say yes to the love in our hearts and do what needs to be done again and again and again, to recover and grow, to allow ourselves the nutrients of growth we need,we become stronger and wiser. From having received this gift, we automatically become a powerful heart haven for others and an agent of change in the world.
And THAT is beautiful! 😊
